Dr Newson has lectured extensively on the menopause at the Royal College of GPs annual meeting, has served as a director for Primary Care Women' s Health Forum and as an editor for the British Journal of Family Medicine. She has also appeared as an expert on BBC Breakfast, Radio 4' s Woman' s Hour and ITV' s Lorraine.
