Jem Packer is an award-winning children' s author and cartoon strip writer for Private Eye. He is also one half of Knife and Packer, who have written and illustrated more than 30 books for children. Jem' s greatest claim to fame is appearing on stage with Sir Paul McCartney as half a pantomime horse. He lives in London with his family - Jem, not Sir Paul McCartney. Emily Fox graduated from University College Falmouth with a first-class degree in illustration. She has illustrated many children' s books including Elephant' s Pyjamas (HarperCollins) and Fabio the Flamingo (Bloomsbury). Emily loves experimenting with colour and spends hours drawing in her sketchbook, mostly in her favourite blue pencil crayon. She lives in Bristol.
