You can't take an elephant on the bus ...It would simply cause a terrible fuss! Elephants' bottoms are heavy and fat and would certainly squash the seats quite flat. Never put a camel in a sailing boat, or a tiger on a train, and don't even THINK about asking a whale to ride a bike ...This riotous picture book is filled with animals causing total disaster as they try to travel in the most unsuitable vehicles. A real romp of a book, with hilarious rhyming text and spectacular illustrations.
Chaotic, crazy, fabulously funny and full of humorously energetic illustrations, this is a books that promises to evoke giggles of glee from readers fortunate enough to come across it -- Eye Eye '... delightfully brought to life with David Tazzyman's quirky illustrations and a jaunty rhyming text. You will laugh out loud as tigers ride on trains, whales ride on bikes and giraffes go on aeroplanes' The Publishers Association Kids will roar with laughter at the absurd situations, brilliantly brought to life by the illustrator of Mr Gum Angels and Urchins The bold, caricature style illustrations, rhyming couplets, and varying font styles add to the humour Practical Pre-School Everything that you could wish for in a picture book, humour, ridiculous situations and imagination stimulating scenarios. Quite frankly, this is picture book writing and illustration at its very best Being a Mummy The vocabulary and humour of the book bridges the gap between very young children and pre-schoolers ... Practical Pre-School David Tazzyman's scratchy style is a great match to this scatty, surprising picture book Books for Keeps
