Bernard Adams (1890-1916) was a Lieutenant in the Royal Welch Fusiliers. Frederic George Scott (1861-1944) was the Senior Chaplain to the 1st Canadian Division in World War I. Louise Mack (1870-1935) was an Australian novelist, poet and journalist who travelled to Belgium to report on the war. Henry L. Fox was an American editor who collected together several accounts of Allied soldiers' experiences.
