"It is very rare to find an educational text that leads the reader from principles into practice. Teaching and Learning in International Schools does exactly that, and in a style that brings you along on a journey rather than intimidating with jargon and theory. Each chapter contains relevant and rich content that takes us through a wide range of ideas around teaching practice, pedagogy and teacher skill development. . . . The ' teacher voice' is strong and brings the theory into real-life, makes it more authentic and gives confidence to the reader that we can do it too!. . . . . This is a text that is much needed in national and international education. -- Malcolm Nicolson * Director Erimus Education, and International Educator * "This book is a welcome contribution to the resources available not only to those who wish to pursue a career in International Education but to any beginning teacher or those simply wanting to refresh their thinking about how to apply contemporary practices to the classroom. . . I am sure there will be much in this collection that will resonate with International Educators.
