Kate Ashwin lives in West Yorkshire with her two fat cats and very understanding husband. She has been putting comics on the internet for nearly two decades now, and mostly works on her Victorian-era wizard adventure Widdershins, which can be read online at widdershinscomic. com! Rachael Ball has been a cartoonist/ illustrator since 1988 and an Art teacher since 2001. She started producing regular strips for cult comic Deadline in 1988. Her first graphic novel, The Inflatable Woman (Bloomsbury), was one of the Guardian' s Best Graphic Novels 2015 and was shortlisted for ' The British Book Design and Production Award' 2016. Her work has featured in the HOI' s ' Comixatrix' exhibition and in the Cartoon Museum' s ' The Inking Woman' exhibition. She has also had a solo exhibition of Wolf at the Cartoon Museum in 2018. Her second graphic novel, WOLF published by SelfMadeHero in 2018. The story is based on the death of her father as a child and will be published by French publisher Presque Lune in October 2020. She has received funding from the Arts Council and the Society of Authors and is currently working on her third graphic novel The Patsy Papers which is based on her experiences of teaching in secondary schools. This novel is a political satire/emotional thriller spotlighting the effect of Tory austerity and poor management on British schools. She teaches How to create children' s books and graphic novel courses at the House of Illustration, the Cartoon Museum, and The Art Academy and is a London coordinator for Laydeez Do Comics (a female-led organization that supports female cartoonists in publishing. ) Emma Beeby had established herself as a professional writer in the film and games industries before moving into the comics arena. The first woman to write Judge Dredd, she has also worked on several other strips for 2000 AD, including Judge Anderson, The Alienist and Survival Geeks (co-creating the latter two strips with frequent writing partner Gordon Rennie). Outside of the Galaxy' s Greatest Comic, she co-created (again with Rennie) the award-winning graphic novel Robbie Burns: Witch Hunter, and has co-written a Doctor Who series for Titan Comics. DaNi was born in Athens, Greece in 1992 and studied sculpture in Athens School of Fine Arts. She began to produce a self-published series called Tales from the Strips that won the Reader' s Choice Award at the Greek Comics Awards in 2015, before working on some 2000 AD strips including Fiends of the Eastern Front and Judge Anderson and on Rebellion' s Scream! & Misty and Tammy & Jinty specials. Soon she was on the radar of the US industry, picking up work from IDW on Dirk Gently' s Holistic Detective Agency. More recently she has worked on the DC VERTIGO titles Sandman-The Dreaming, DC HILL HOUSE COMICS and on the Image comics series Coffin Bound. V. V. Glass is an illustrator and cover artist who' s worked with Titan, Oni Press, 2000 AD, and MTV, focussing on painterly & expressive style in comics. They' re currently working on a creepy fantasy for younger readers with Boom! Studios, The Last Witch, out in 2021. Paul J. Holden has illustrated The 86ers, Judge Dredd, Tharg' s Future Shocks, Rogue Trooper and Johnny Woo for 2000 AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine. P. J. lives and works in Belfast, and is married with two children. Yishan Li is a professional UK/Chinese manga artist currently living in Shanghai, and has been working with publishers such as Image, DC, Darkhorse, Random house and Dargaud. Her recent works include: Swing (Top Cow/Image); HELLBOY AND THE B. P. R. D. : 1956 (Dark Horse); Paradox Girl (Top cow/Image); Buffy the High school Years graphic novel (3 books, published by Dark Horse), Sugar (Top Cow/Image) and Blue Beetle (DC Comics). Kel McDonald has been working in comics for over a decade-most of that time has been spent on her webcomic Sorcery 101. More recently, she has organized the Cautionary Fables and Fairytales anthology series and written the Eisner nominated mini-series, The Stone King. She has also worked on the comics Buffy: The High School Years. She recently finished a creator owned series Misfits of Avalon for Dark Horse Comics. She' s currently working on her self-published series The City Between. Rachael Smith Rachael Smith is a comics creator whose works include Wired Up Wrong, Stand in Your Power, The Rabbit, and Artificial Flowers. She also worked on the Doctor Who: Tenth Doctor comic series and is making daily comics about the pandemic at the hashtag #QuarantineComix. More info at rachaelsmith. org Rob Williams is the writer of Suicide Squad and Martian Manhunter for DC Comics, Unfollow for Vertigo and Doctor Who: The Eleventh Doctor for Titan Comics. His previous work for 2000 AD includes Judge Dredd: Titan, The Grievous Journey Of Ichabod Azrael (And The Dead Left In His Wake) and The Ten-Seconders, and he is currently writing Roy of the Rovers for Rebellion.
