Rebecca F. John is the author of four novels for adults. Her short stories have been broadcast on Radio 4 and Radio 4 Extra. Her debut novel The Haunting of Henry Twist was shortlisted for the Costa First Novel award; she was the winner of the PEN International/New Voices Award 2015 and was shortlisted for the Sunday Times EFG Short Story Award with her short story collection, Clown' s Shoes. The Shadow Order is her first children' s novel. Rebecca lives in south west Wales.
