Assessments like MBTI, DiSC, and StrengthsFinder are popular tools for understanding personality. Unfortunately, the results often isolate people in neat boxes rather than build bridges across their differences. In contrast, the Process Communication Model (PCM) helps you find the shared ground between you and the people you speak with. According to PCM, we all have a feeler, a thinker, a believer, a dreamer, a rebel, and a promoter within us; it' s the proportions that vary. We default to communicating with our strongest part, when we should be communicating using the part we have most in common with others. Over one million people in fifty countries have been trained in this model, but this is the first book written with the goal of being easily understood by untrained people. Seeing People Through will help leaders support their people in facing any challenge and get organizations communicating on mutually beneficial terms.
"Seeing People Through is a much-needed leadership guide for tapping into the power of individual differences. The Process Communication Model is genius, and Regier makes it accessible and applicable to anyone who wants to include and leverage all personality types. " --Daniel H. Pink, author of When, Drive, and To Sell Is Human"This book is a must-read for organizations looking to create more empathy in their culture. Regier helps us see PCM as a way to create self-awareness and lead others inclusively. " --Lisa Z. Fain, CEO, Center for Mentoring Excellence, and coauthor of Bridging Differences for Better Mentoring"Seeing People Through helped me see myself and others through a richer lens. I' m better able to bring my full self to leadership and better equipped to help others flourish on their teams as a result of this insightful book. " --Dan Rockwell, author of the Leadership Freak blog and Inc. Top 50 Leadership and Management Expert"The need for compassionate leadership has never been greater and it will soon become permission to play. This book will guide your journey. " --Bobby Herrera, author of The Gift of Struggle and cofounder and CEO, Populus Group"Anyone who reads Seeing People Through will benefit by becoming more informed, more passionate, and more effective as a leader. " --Jeff King, Head of School, MUSE School; CEO, MUSE Global; and author of Beyond Drama"Nate Regier brilliantly unpacks the sophistication of the Process Communication Model in a practical and easy-to-read way, leaving the reader hungry for a deeper experience of true authentic leadership. " --Nicole Heimann, CEO, Nicole Heimann & Partners AG; author of How to Develop the Authentic Leader in You; and winner of a 2019 Thinkers50 Marshall Goldsmith Leading Global Coach Award
