The CubeBook series brings together breathtaking landscapes, inspiring quotes, and infographics about environmental issues that will take readers on a journey through the depths of the sea. "For most of history, man has had to fight nature to survive; in this century he is beginning to realise that, in order to survive, he must protect it. " -Jacques-Yves Cousteau The mesmerising pictures in The Sea combine with powerful quotes about the importance of protecting the world around us. Each chapter begins with an infographic depicting the issues faced by these large bodies of water. The images in this book, from the icy waters of the two poles to the coral reefs in the tropics, testify to why the seas need to be preserved for us and for future generations.
