After studying painting at university, Suki Iiduka spent ten years living the simple life in rural Yamagata, Japan, observing the traditional ways and avoiding waste. She now lives with her family in the town of Gunma, where she runs a cafe and studio, holds sashiko workshops and sells her own creations.
