The book covers a wide range of core topics and addresses critical issues facing the field. I look forward to using this book with our school and district partners who are designing, implementing, and evaluating Comprehensive, Integrated, Three-Tiered (Ci3T) models of prevention. I also look forward to using this book in university courses supporting evidence-based practices for students with or at risk for emotional and behavioral disorders. Roberts Distinguished Professor of Special Education and Associate Vice Chancellor for Research, University of Kansas "This timely second edition shares best practices for creating safe and healthy school climates for all students, including those at risk for serious behavioral, emotional, and learning challenges down the road. The authors provide a framework for integrating various prevention approaches, including PBIS, restorative practices, social and emotional learning, and trauma-informed care.
