His research interests include the history of media, film history, cognitive-cultural economy and philosophy. Justin Michael Battin is a lecturer of communication at RMIT University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. His research focuses on intersecting strands of Heidegger' s philosophy with the everyday uses of mobile media technologies and mobile social media.
