Ken Merry is an experienced senior leader and education consultant who was employed as one of Her Majesty' s Inspectors for Ofsted between 2016 and 2021. Prior to working for Ofsted he was a teacher, an advanced teaching and learning coach, a middle leader, and vice-chair of governors at a secondary comprehensive school. His current role is as the vice principal for quality at an outstanding further education college in Yorkshire. He continues to inspect for Ofsted on a part time basis and is a member of the governing body for a primary academy trust.
