Marianne Berkes has spent much of her life as a teacher, children' s theater director and children' s librarian. She knows how much children enjoy "interactive" stories and is the author of many entertaining and educational picture books that make a child' s learning relevant. Reading, music, theater, gardening, and cooking have been a constant in Marianne' s life. Her books are inspired by her love of nature. Marianne hopes to open kids' eyes to the magic found in our natural world. She now writes full time. An energetic presenter at schools and conferences, Marianne believes that "hands on" learning is fun. Her website is www. MarianneBerkes. com. Jill Dubin' s whimsical art has appeared in over 30 children' s books. Her cut paper illustrations reflect her interest in combining color, pattern and texture. She grew up in Yonkers, New York, and graduated from Pratt Institute. She lives with her family in Atlanta, Georgia, including two dogs that do very little but with great enthusiasm.

In stock - for items in stock we aim to dispatch the next business day. For delivery in NZ allow 2-5 business days, with rural taking a wee bit longer.

Locally sourced in NZ - stock comes from a NZ supplier with an approximate delivery of 7-15 business days.

International Imports - stock is imported into NZ, depending on air or sea shipping option from the international supplier stock can take 10-30 working days to arrive into NZ.
