She lives in Northern California in the USA. Frann Preston-Gannon is an award-winning illustrator and designer. She was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Award in 2020 for her work on the best-selling I Am the Seed That Grew the Tree (Nosy Crow) and has also been shortlisted for the Waterstones Children' s Prize. She was the first UK recipient of the Sendak Fellowship, allowing her to spend a month living with and learning from Maurice Sendak. Her work has been published around the world. She lives in London.
