While on a school trip to Spain, Boston visits a market and reaches for an item when suddenly, everything is different. Through a door in time, he lands in 1492, in the shadow of the Spanish Inquisition. There, danger is around every corner. But two new friends, Tariq and Salomon, threatened as a Muslim and a Jew, support him in this desperate situation. Boston must find a way back to the present time while making sure the course of history stays intact.
Kirsten Boie is a German children' s author and activist. Having worked as a teacher, she began publishing in 1985 and is the author of more than 100 books. David Henry Wilson is a playwright, novelist, and children' s author, whose work has been performed and published in many different countries. He was born in London, studied French and German at Cambridge University, and for many years lectured in English Language and Literature at the universities of Bristol, England, and Constance, Germany, where he founded the university theatre. His translations range from children' s picture books and novels to art history and literary theory.
