Jabari Asim is an associate professor of Writing, Literature and Publishing at Emerson College in Boston. He is also the executive editor of The Crisis, the NAACP' s flagship journal of politics, ideas and culture. He is the author of children' s books like Whose Knees Are These, Whose Toes are Those, and has also written acclaimed works for adults. His writing has appeared in the Chicago Tribune, the Wall Street Journal, Salon. com, the Los Angeles Times, the Village Voice, the New York Times, USA Today and elsewhere. His first work of fiction, A Taste of Honey, was a finalist for an NAACP Image Award. So was his latest book, Fifty Cents And A Dream. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Tara Nicole fell in love with children' s books from visits to the local library. This passion for illustration developed into one for animation, as well. Her education in art began early, from classes at Pratt in her youth, to more formal training at RISD and California Institute of the Arts, earning her a BFA in Character Animation in 2002. Since graduating, she has designed for Dreamworks, Nickelodeon, Fox Animation, PBS, CBS, Cartoon Network, and most recently, Disney. She loves dogs and her mini. My Baby Loves Chrismtas marks Tara' s debut as a children' s book illustrator!

Locally sourced in NZ - stock comes from a NZ supplier with an approximate delivery of 7-15 business days.

International Imports - stock is imported into NZ, depending on air or sea shipping option from the international supplier stock can take 10-30 working days to arrive into NZ. 

Pre-order Titles - delivery will vary depending on where the title is published, if local stock is available in NZ then 5-7 business days, for international imports it can be 10-30 business days. In all cases we will access the quickest supply option.

Delivery Packaging - we ship all items in cardboard sleeves or by box with either packing paper or corn starch chips. (We avoid using plastics bubble bags)

Tracking - Orders are delivered by track and trace courier and are fully insured, tracking information will be sent by email once dispatched.
