Max Humphrey has a design firm in Portland, Oregon. He has been featured in Architectural Digest, Domino, Dwell, The Wall Street Journal, and as one of Apartment Therapy' s design change-makers. Max is also a sought-after art director and stylist for retail catalogs and has created campaigns for home decor brands and global big box stores. He was featured as a ' Next Wave' designer in House Beautiful and one of Country Living' s 100 Most Creative People. Chase Reynolds Ewald has been writing about design, travel, and lifestyle for 25 years. She is Senior Editor of Western Art & Architecture and the author of a dozen books, including American Rustic and Cabin Style. She resides in Tiburon, California.
