Lei Xiong is a children' s book author from Jiaxing, China, who currently resides in Beijing. He has worked in animation, puppetry, and toy manufacturing and now works in children' s publishing. In 2002, he received the Bing Xin Children' s Literature Award. His other work, The Mole' s Potato, was awarded the Chinese National Award for Outstanding Children' s Literature.
