A large colour illustrated book of Australian science history and biography, containing rare maps and illustrations from the personal collection of Emeritus Professor Robert Clancy. His book presents the advancements that Australia has contributed to the world in wide-ranging fields like Biology, Physics, Astronomy and Geology, and encourages Australia to get back to it' s winning ways. It' s a who' s who of several century' s worth of scientific superstars, from pre-Colonial times to the Second World War.
Emeritus Professor Robert Clancy is a clinical immunologist/gastroenterologist, and received a PhD for studies in auto-immune disease. He has worked in Canada, Sydney, Melbourne at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute, and was the Foundation Professor of Pathology at the Newcastle University Medical School, where he also established the Newcastle Mucosal Immunology Group. Discoveries have included the cause of Whipple' s Disease, the role of T cells in controlling the mucosal microbiome, the defect in Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and an understanding of the host immune response in the pathogenesis of a number of diseases including malaria, chronic bronchitis, Crohn' s disease, recurrent vulvovaginal candidosis and gastritis. Dr Clancy lives in Sydney.

International Imports - stock is imported into NZ, depending on air or sea shipping option from the international supplier stock can take 10-30 working days to arrive into NZ. 

Pre-order Titles - delivery will vary depending on where the title is published, if local stock is available in NZ then 5-7 business days, for international imports it can be 10-30 business days. In all cases we will access the quickest supply option.

Delivery Packaging - we ship all items in cardboard sleeves or by box with either packing paper or corn starch chips. (We avoid using plastics bubble bags)
