His 2020 BBC podcast, Pride and Joy, shares the stories of many other LGBTQ+ people starting families today. He lives Kent coast with his three-year-old child. He' s expecting his second child in early 2022, an experience he shares in a column for Vice, Dad Bod. This is his first picture book. Rosalind Beardshaw (Illustrator) Rosalind Beardshaw is an award-winning illustrator, her previous books include Just Right for Two and My Pet Star (winner of the Sainsbury' s Book Award and the Sheffield Baby book Award). Her studio and home are in York, where she lives with her young family.
