In each episode of her podcast, Life, I Swear, emotive storyteller Chloe Dulce Louvouezo explores the nuances of our diverse experiences. In one-on-one interviews and personal prose, the podcast centers on personal stories that offer universal insights into topics relevant to modern women' s lives, from identity and family to trauma and motherhood, told through the lens of Black women. A catalyst for change, this revelatory book builds on the premise of the podcast by diving deeper into themes of mental health, identity and resilience. Life, I Swear is sure to spark lively, thought-provoking, and necessary conversations that encourage Black women to return home to themselves through self-examination and grace. Life, I Swear features 100-125 full-color photographs throughout.
Chloe Louvouezo currently supports internal and external communication at The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She is a curator of stories and experiences that support inclusivity and belonging of underrepresented communities, particularly for Black women and women of color. She is the executive producer and host of the Life, I Swear podcast, which features stories and reflections around mental wellness and identity from Black women. Chloe earned her B. A. in Journalism from Howard University with a concentration in Cultural Anthropology and her M. P. S. in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University. She holds a professional certificate in Diversity and Inclusion Leadership from Cornell University. In her career in communications, diversity, and inclusion, she advocates for inclusive storytelling through internal and external communications at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Services for the Underserved, one of the largest human services agencies in New York City, as well as for a women' s college in Kigali, Rwanda. Chloe has been featured in CRWN Mag, Hannah Magazine, Teen Vogue, and other publications, and has presented and spoken for audiences at ViacomCBS Networks, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Burson Cohn & Wolfe Global, and others. She is a founding board member of HURU, which creates sacred spaces for rest experiences that foster emotional wellbeing and wholeness. She is also a founding board member for DIfest, a series of conferences that offers a community centered on diversity and inclusion across industries. Chloe is also an interior stylist and owner of Blue Nomad Studio, which provides design and creative space for production companies and other photography and video projects. Her design of interior spaces are curated to encourage healing and mental wellness.
