From the start of her career, her etchings, lithographs, and woodcuts were included in the collections of renowned art institutes. Her fame as an artist grew steadily and she eventually became the first woman appointed professor by the Prussian Academy of Arts in 1919. Beautifully illustrated throughout, this monograph offers an extensive overview of the life and work of one of the most important German artists of Classic Modernism.
