When Glenda Millard found her mother-in-law, Isabelle, whose eyesight was failing, kneeling in the garden to feel whether the daffodil bulbs were coming up, the profound emotional connection she witnessed inspired Glenda to write this uplifting story.
Glenda Millard was born in the Goldfields region of Central Victoria and has lived in the area all her life. It wasn't until Glenda's four children became teenagers that she began to write in her spare time. She has now been writing full-time since 1999 and has published six picture books, three junior fiction titles, short stories and two young adult titles. She lives in Rebecca Cool
