Jacqueline Rohen was born in Essex. She worked in television and musical theatre in London, before moving to Uganda with her fiance where they set up the Bulindi Chimpanzee & Community Project to conserve wild chimpanzees by supporting local households living alongside them. How To Marry Your Husband was her first novel. Tragically, Jacqueline passed away just before the book' s publication.
