Niraj Lal is a physicist working on improving the efficiency of solar cells. He works in Renewable Energy, Nanophotonics, and Science Outreach. He is the founder of www.NoiseVsSignal.org and TheKnews.org. In 2016, he was part of the 5 Under 40 team of scientists who undertook a short residence with ABC RN Science. As well as producing and presenting radio and online pieces about his work and other areas of science, Nij has written children's stories. This story gently introduces children to physical concepts around flight and the motion of satellites in orbit. Adam Carruthers is an illustrator and designer. He likes to scribble. He LOVES children's books. He is so happy that he gets to transform his scribbles and his imagination into magical stories. He lives in Melborne with his amazing wife Jodie, their three children Eden, Rylan and Tessa, and their dog Chloe.
