Matt Doeden is a freelance author and editor from Minnesota. He' s written numerous children' s books on sports, music, current events, the military, extreme survival, and much more. His books Sandy Koufax (Twenty-First Century Books, 2006) and Tom Brady: Unlikely Champion (Twenty-First Century Books, 2011) were Junior Library Guild selections. Doeden began his career as a sports writer before turning to publishing. He lives in Minnesota with his wife and two children. Fran Bueno is a comic artist with over twenty-five years of experience. He graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and has worked on a wide variety of projects since then, illustrating for pamphlets, advertisements, children' s books, and young adult comics. In addition, he is an instructor at the O Garaxe Hermetico Professional School of Comics where he teaches traditional inking and graphic skills. He lives in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
