David John Pleasance has led an incredible life, travelling extensively to work in Australia, Switzerland, Dominican Republic, USA and of course his native UK. In his twenties he was a professional Flamenco guitarist, appearing on television and playing extensive concerts theatres and cabaret. Following a change of career to sales and marketing, in 1983 he joined Commodore just after they launched the Commodore 64. He was highly successful, personally selling an estimated 2. 2 million home computers, and was one of the longest serving executives in Commodore with over twelve years at senior international level.
