She studied at the Ruskin School of Drawing and the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, and is a graduate of the Glasgow School of Art. She is a horse rider with a deep knowledge of the horse and an interest in classical and natural horsemanship. Her work has been exhibited widely in the UK, and she is a Friend of the Society of Equestrian Artists.
