The Magpyrs are a thoroughly modern, sophisticated vampire family. They're looking to enhance their social status by taking over a kingdom or two. Over the years they've even developed a taste for garlic and for holy icons. They're not going to take 'no' for an answer - particularly from witches or priests...
"He will remain an enduring, endearing presence in comic literature" Guardian "Both his inventiveness and his moral shrewdness seem inexhaustible" Daily Express
