A prolific writer on the subject of small crochet items, Miya started making Amigurumi dolls during her pregnancy in 2001, and has been creating designs that give a sense of story ever since. She shares her designs in books, magazines, greeting cards and more. She conducts classes and workshops in Japan, especially in Saitama prefecture where she lives.
