Catherine Trimby is retired and lives in rural Shropshire with her husband. She was a magistrate for 34 years and has currently completed 8 years as an Independent Monitor at a women' s prison. She has previously written ' Josie' , the story of a young woman unexpectedly imprisoned, and The Badger and Crab series of books for children.
