In 2017 she was the winner of the prestigious X Compostela Prize for the book La huerta de Simon. Rocio' s illustrations were selected by Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Competition in Shanghai. She is the cofounder of "Mundos ilustrados," the school of illustration where she teaches.
