On the same day every year, Jack McKenzie and Jimmy Oldcorn meet at the Anzac Hotel to toast their freedom, their survival and their friendship. They first met in a harsh war most Australians have forgotten. The two men couldn't be more different, yet the experiences they have shared have bonded them as brothers - and successful business partners. Together they have netted a fortune from a fishing venture that spans the Asian seas - and the underworld. When Jacko and Jimmy find themselves dragged into forbidden waters, their lives are once again at stake. Brother Fish is a spellbinding novel of intrigue, drama and the power of friendship from Australia's most celebrated storyteller.
