Return to the world of Blade Runner with this, the officially sanctioned box-set of the comic book series based on the cult 1982 science fiction movieBlade Runner, directed by Ridley Scott. Includes 3 stunning art cards! Voted Best Licensed Comic 2021 by Multiversity Comics This boxed set edition collects all three volumes of the Blade Runner 2029 - the second year of the Blade Runner saga. Set ten years after the first year' s critically acclaimed series, these three volumes see Blade Runner Ash return to the rain-soaked streets of a slowly crumbling Los Angeles to hunt down renegade Replicants. But this time ASH now has a new agenda that, if discovered, will make her the enemy of humanity. Collects together Blade Runner 2029 Vol 1: Reunion, Blade Runner 2029 Vol 2: Echoes, Blade Runner 2029 Vol 3: Redemption.
The mythology-expanding story is backed by artist Guinaldo' s evocative depiction of the rain-sodden eco-catastrphine that is 2029 LA. Violent (including an eye-gouging) but supremely stylish - Total Film "Johnson and Guinaldo have managed to hit that nostalgic sweet spot of familiarity and extension with a strong third act helping to elevate the story enough to warrant further exploration" - SciFi Now "The artwork is fantastic. There' s a dark gritty feel to it that also feels just as faithful to the films . . . You can practically hear the soundtrack of the original 1982 film playing in the background - The Hashtag Show
