Caroline Gray has a BA from Brown University, USA, and a Certificate in Children' s Book Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design. In 2013, she completed the MA in Children' s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. Humour is the driving force behind Caroline' s work. She is particularly inspired by anthropomorphised animals, fantasy worlds and the strange things our pets get up to when we leave the house. She works in a combination of digital and traditional techniques. Caroline lives in Cambridge with her husband, young son, dog, cat and an ever growing collection of children' s books.
