Colin West studied Illustration, and gained an M. A. , at the Royal College of Art. He has written and illustrated over sixty children' s books in a successful career that spans over 40 years. These have been in many genres including picture books, young readers and nonsense verse. He now concentrates on his first love - writing and illustrating humorous verse. He lives in Battle, East Sussex.
