Troy Nixey, born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, has illustrated a number of works for notable creators, like Mike Mignola' s Batman- The Doom that Came to Gotham and Batman- The Gasworks, Neil Gaiman' s Only the End of the World Again (adapted by P. Craig Russell), and Matt Wagner' s Grendel- Black, White & Red. Troy co-created the comic mini series Jenny Finn with Mike Mignola, and he created the Bacon comic as well as the critically acclaimed comic, Trout. Nixey also contributed to Bart Simpson' s Treehouse of Horror #7, and Detective Comics #796. He worked with Andrew Cosby on the Dark Horse book Mary Scary in 2007. He served as director for Guillermo Del Toro' s 2011 remake of Don' t Be Afraid of the Dark.
