In 2019 she was awarded the IEEE-SA Standards Medallion ' For vision, leadership, and contributions to developing automotive Ethernet networking. ' Thomas Koenigseder is CTO at Technica Engineering. In 2008, he was responsible at BMW for launching the first car with an Ethernet connection.
