Horatio Clare' s first book for children Aubrey and the Terrible Yoot, won the Branford Boase Award for a first children' s novel in 2016. His second book in the series, Aubrey and the Terrible Ladybirds, was longlisted for the Carnegie and the UKLA book awards.
