Inspired by Emily Hampshire' s popular Instagram posts documenting a life at home during COVID lockdowns. This debut graphic novel is an original creation of actress Emily Hampshire, and will provide a basis for later development into an upcoming animated series geared at a YA audience starring Emily and friends with an LGBTQA+ and supernatural slant. The book was inspired by the popularity of a series of Instagram posts she began in COVID, chronicling her life at home.
From Vancouver, BC in Canada, and graduating cum laude from the Maryland Institute College Art, Ames (or Amy) is an illustrator who draws their inspiration from their own life, nature, music, and other things they find beautiful or humorous. In their spare time, they like to ride the longboards that they design and paint as well as try to teach themselves guitar.
