Karolin Schnoor is a German freelance illustrator and designer based in London. Kimiko Hahn, who wrote the foreword and whose poem "Foreign Body" is included in this collection, is a Japanese-American poet and educator. She is the author of eight chapbooks and ten books of poetry, including Earshot, which received the Theodore Roethke Memorial Poetry Prize. She is the recipient of a Guggenheim fellowship, among other honors. She is currently a professor at the Queens College MFA program.
