Maynard, CBE, FRCP, FRCPath, is an Honorary Professor of Environmental Medicine at the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, UK.Sarah J. Pearce, FRCP, is Formerly Consultant Physician at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, Darlington, UK.Benoit B.
