Age range 6 to 9Learn how to classify various animals from big-sized illustrations!Vast numbers of animals live here on Earth, from tiny insects to large mammals. The animal world is varied and quite interesting. This encyclopedia will introduce you to several hundreds of the best known and most interesting animals on the whole planet, and to top it off , it will help you put each one of them into the right group. This book will show you an attractive selection of mammals, rodents, ungulates, primates, predators, cetaceans, birds, fish, cartilaginous fish, amphibians, reptiles, insects, and other animal groups that can be found all over Earth. Beautiful illustrations and simple texts make this book indispensable for all children.
This book teaches you how to classify different animals asmammals, birds, fish, reptiles, or insects and other invertebrates. Each pagehas large cartoony illustrations of various types of animals, and smallparagraphs with facts and information. This design is perfect for capturing theattention of a curious child! I love the cartoony art style! It' s so cute and colorful. This book is really interesting, and it' s so cool to find out some new factsabout rare species and also about common animals. As always, I take issue with a scientific book that presentsa scientific theory as if it were a fact. This book talks about origin theoriesas if they were supported by empirical fact, which they are not. It' s such adisappointment and it is not honest. I wish there were better integrity in thewriting. This would be such a great book for any little kid who loveslearning about animals! - Luminous Libro
