Sean Sheehan was a teacher before becoming a full-time writer of history books for young readers. He lives in Ireland and he has travelled around southern Europe visiting castles built during the time of the Crusades. Patricia Levy is a teacher who has written several books for young readers on historical subjects. In her other role as a travel writer she has visited many of the medieval cathedrals of the British Isles and Europe. Kathy Elgin was born in Lancashire and educated at Queen Mary College, University of London. She has worked as a dance and theatre critic, and has written numerous historical books for children and adults. Saviour Pirotta is an author and playwright living in the seaside town of Scarborough, in the UK. He has written many books for children, ranging from short novels to picture books and historical fiction. He visits schools around the UK and the Middle East sharing his passion for writing with children. Award-winning author Fiona Macdonald studied history at Newnham College, Cambridge. She has taught history to children and adults in schools and universities and has written over 100 history and fiction books for young people. Christopher Gravett is a curator specialising in the arms and armour of the medieval world. He has written over 20 books on medieval subjects both for adults and children. He has also acted as a consultant on film and television projects.

In stock - for items in stock we aim to dispatch the next business day. For delivery in NZ allow 2-5 business days, with rural taking a wee bit longer.

Locally sourced in NZ - stock comes from a NZ supplier with an approximate delivery of 7-15 business days.

International Imports - stock is imported into NZ, depending on air or sea shipping option from the international supplier stock can take 10-30 working days to arrive into NZ. 

Pre-order Titles - delivery will vary depending on where the title is published, if local stock is available in NZ then 5-7 business days, for international imports it can be 10-30 business days. In all cases we will access the quickest supply option.

Delivery Packaging - we ship all items in cardboard sleeves or by box with either packing paper or corn starch chips. (We avoid using plastics bubble bags)

Tracking - Orders are delivered by track and trace courier and are fully insured, tracking information will be sent by email once dispatched.
