Kris Humphrey has been a cinema projectionist, a blood factory technician and worked at an animal sanctuary in the Guatemalan jungle. He is a graduate of the MA in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University, and has published a middle grade fantasy quartet with Stripes. Pete Williamson began his creative career in the animation industry. He began illustrating children' s books in 2008, collaborating with Marcus Sedgwick on theBlue Peter award-winning Elf Girl and Raven Boy. He has now illustrated over 65 children' s books, including fiction by Francesca Simon, Matt Haig, Steve Cole, Julia Donaldson-and Charles Dickens.
