The Threlfalls follows Susan's journey to adulthood, her experiences seeing her grow into an independent, wilful but secretive young woman who isn't afraid of danger. When tragedy takes the life of someone close to her, Susan is sure there is more to the death than meets the eye, and she sets off down an increasingly dark and dangerous path to uncover the truth.
