J Ryan has been writing stories since the age of 13. Following a career as a freelance advertising writer for the motor industry, the author started writing the Missing Dad series, which is now complete. The author has also won two international short story competitions (Wasafiri and Momaya Press) and written three stage plays, one of them award-winning.
