Jay Annelli has been playing Magic- The Gathering poorly since 1998. Given his lack of skill, he turned to writing about Magic' s lore instead. To date, Jay has published over 150 articles and four books totalling more than 500,000 words about Magic' s setting, characters, art, and story. Jay has been consulting with Wizards of the Coast as Magic' s Loremaster since 2018. Because he doesn' t have enough to do, Jay is also a Disaster Planner for Public Health. Jay lives in Frederick, Maryland with his wife and two children.
