She is also a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe, Bruges. She has published extensively in the field of EU law, including EU Equality Law: The First Fundamental Rights Policy of the EU (2018). Her research has received a Starting Grant from the European Research Council, as well as scientific prizes (Edmond Hustinx, 2012).
